Hello from the CCM in Mexico City!! CCM Is mtc in Spanish. I love being
here in the CCM, the spirit is so strong all the time! I have been sick
since like
friday
night and today Im like 95 percent better! Just a stuffy nose. There
has been a sickness going around that makes you throw up really bad. I
stared getting it and thought 'No, I refuse to get sick!' So I asked
some of the Elders in my branch(the people I spend most of the day with)
to give me a blessing. I only asked for a blessing of health but the
Elder that gave me the blessing blessed me with so much more! I feel so
very grateful to be apart of a church where you can receive a blessing
by someone who holds the proper authority to do so! This Elder was truly
in tune with the Lord when he gave me that blessing! I know because of
this blessing I was able to overcome the sickness faster and not throw
up! Yo se que la Iglesia es verdadera! I know the church is true!! So
the funny thing about the CCM is that its right in the middle of mexico
city. The people here love to party ALL THE TIME!!! During church the
were blasting Dupstep! haha try bearing your testimony in spanish to
that!! they also like to use like these fireworks that just make a loud
exploding sound and it goes off right above us! It also sound like the
canon from the hunger games. so when ever it goes off some one in my
branch will say 'someone just died!' there are multiple throughout the
day! The most interesting thing i have eaten is a Mexican Pomegranit(or
however you spell it, im slowly losing english) the part you eat look
like an aliens egg sack..... but it taste soo good! the seeds are like
crunchy sunflower seed in this green goo. It took a lot of courage to
eat it the first time! Anyways, I know the Church is true. Im very
grateful to be apart of the Lord's army! I cant wait to take the love of
God to my brother and sisters in Ecuador!
